NSGA brings home three team trophies from Tropical Twist Invite

The North Shore Gymnastics Xcel teams are making room for new hardware, bringing home three team trophies from the Tropical Twist Invitational in St. Cloud on March 7-8.

The Diamond team took first with a score of 110.8. The Gold Team came in second place (112.950), and the Platinum Team placed third (112.250).

North Shore gymnast Abby Ylitalo (age 15, Plymouth), continues to dominate winning the Diamond all-around medal with a score of 37.350. Ylitalo also took first place on beam (9.650) and floor (9.700). Teammate Mara McCollor (age 14, Plymouth), placed second all-around with a score of 36.450, first on bars (9.200) and second on beam (9.1). Meagan Boecker (age 15, Delano), earned second place on bars (9.050), and Piper Hennings (age 16, Minnetrista), placed second on floor (9.500).

For the Platinum team, in the 13 & up division, Ally Berger (age 14, Waconia) took second place on vault (9.600), and teammate Maddi Doshan (age 13, Mound) took second on beam (9.500).

In the Platinum 12 & under division, Peyton Uelmen (age 11, Minnetrista), took second place on vault (9.650), and Lily Sipprell (age 12, Minnetrista), placed second on floor (9.550).

For the Gold Team, Greta Ness (age 11, Independence) took first place on bars (9.600).
