The City of Maple Plain has a vacancy on the City Council. This vacancy is a two year term to serve the residents of Maple Plain. The City of Maple Plain wishes to fill this vacancy through an appointment process. If interested you can find official applications at the Citys website at or picked up at City Hall at 5050 Independence St., Maple Plain, MN 55359; Applications must be filled out to completion and submitted to City Hall staff by 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2017. Applications must arrive by 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2017, via email to [email protected]; or via the U.S. Postal Service to City of Maple Plain, 5050 Independence St., PO Box 97, Maple Plain, MN 55359; or dropped off in-person during City Halls normal business hours of 8:00am 4:30pm, Monday Friday; City Council will then hold a workshop on Monday, February 6, 2017, in order to review all applications; Applicants selected for an interview will participate in the process at a City Council Workshop on Tuesday, February 7, 2017;

Once all interviews have been conducted, City Council will determine the best candidate for the position; The Candidate City Council selects will be sworn in to office Monday, February 13, 2017 before 5:30 P.M.
